I am back are you ready ?
Ohhhhh Okayyyy.... I am here to tell you about Unit two, In this unit I learnt about Writing as a stage , a process and a trait.
I learnt that there are four stages in writing and appropriate activities which would develop each stage. This information gain is beneficial to me as a pre-service teacher because I could be able to utilize the knowledge learnt in the future. For example, The Emergent stage I could have the students engaging in activities such as scribbling and drawing, role playing, explaining orally and introduce them to basic punctuation marks. This would help my students to develop their writing skills in the Emergent stage.

I knew
about the writing process but I learn activities to aid the writing process. Honestly 
Learning this information could help me in aiding students writing skills, For example in the drafting process I can ask students to write without considering spelling and errors. I found this important useful because I could apply the know into the classroom.
I learnt about the traits of writing and activities
this information is beneficial to me as a pre-service teacher. For example, I
could use pictures in a sequential order, encourage students to utilize
connective words to organize their story which would help them in organization.
I learnt how the
process and trait were related.Then,
My group members and I had to complete an activity bringing out a trait, we choose Pre-writing which bring out ideas and organization as the trait .
Overall, the activity we did came out successful it brought out the that we planned and was looking forward for.
The 2nd of October was the best day
ever.
I learn 7 interesting songs for the 7 traits learnt, I honestly think that student will learn to write better if they are taught these songs because it helps them to
remember what to include and more in their writing pieces. For example, to have the students gathering their ideas for their story. I would utilize a picture and the idea song “write,
write, write your thoughts make your ideas clear. Tell the reader what you know
and what you hold most clear.

Also I learn appropriate activities to bring out the
traits. My favourite sounds are the convention song with the Hokey Pokey and
word choice song with ring around the Rosie beat.
Finally, my group member and I had to plan a lesson
to bring out two objectives for a Grade 4 class.
The lesson planned was awesome we brought cake,
balloons, snacks, juice and music to bring out the lesson. The students really
enjoy themselves, plus the objectives were achieved. Also I enjoyed all classmate
lesson and activities especially Talk di Fruit activity. Overall, I think that teachers should utilize knowledge learn so that the students can benefit education wise, I strong believe that students will actually learn.
I think that teacher should go all out in their lessons so that students would benefit academically.
